The Museum of Art is a wonderfully unique space for exhibitions and Fort Lauderdale events, but did you know it is also one of downtown Fort Lauderdale’s most sought-after event venues for special events?
The Museum’s Featured Exhibition Galleries are located on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Museum and can be combined with the rental of one or more of our events spaces.
THE CURVE is our new and exciting event space located at the top of the grand staircase, perfect for formal or casual dinners and receptions. Capacity: 200 for dinner, 250 for cocktail reception. Guests may enjoy viewing the exhibitions in adjacent galleries, although food and drinks are not permitted.
THEPECK TERRACE on the 2nd floor is an outdoor area overlooking the Las Olas Boulevard night life below. Capacity is 150 for dinner and 200 for reception.
LOBBY/FOYER/BREEZEWAY on the 1st floor may be used for receptions and dinners after hours. Capacity is 100 for dinner and 200 for reception. Guests may enjoy viewing the works of art, although food and drinks are not permitted in any gallery.
THE HORVITZ AUDITORIUM is adjacent to the Museum, connected by a beautiful breezeway which may be used for a reception. This venue seats 256 theatre style. The latest a/v equipment and onsite a/v tech are available for rental. A Steinway piano is available for rental.
THE BOARDROOM is located on the Museum’s 3rd floor and it is perfect for meetings with up to 25 people seated. A/v is available for rental.
We encourage our clients to book their events as early as possible to ensure availability. All pricing includes access to the galleries for viewing of the collection, basic security, basic a/v (in the Auditorium and Boardroom), and janitorial service.
No food or drink is permitted in the galleries or theatre. Smoking is prohibited inside the Museum and outside on Museum property (also City of Ft. Lauderdale ordinance).
MOA will not assume or accept responsibility for damage to or loss of any merchandise or articles left in MOA before, during, or following the function.
Food must be served in conjunction with beverage service. Donated food or beverage is not permitted.
