Pose with a 4x5 Speed Graphic camera at Africa USA, Safari Park
Boca Raton, Florida
Organized by the Museum of Art in cooperation with Galerie Schuster Berlin.
June 22 – October 6, 2013
When Bunny Yeager hopped in front of the camera decades ago, she became one of the most-sought-after models in Miami. Later, she moved behind the lens to become one of the most popular pin-up photographers of her time, succeeding as a woman in a man’s world. Spanning her career from the 1950s to the present, and including her innovative self-portraits and a range of photos that helped define Florida lifestyles of the 50s and 60s, this exhibition will include new photographs from her first photo shoot in thirty years.
Funding for this exhibition has been generously provided by our Presenting Sponsor, Stiles with additional support from Associate Sponsors, Greenberg Traurig and Northern Trust Bank.
Funding for the Museum of Art is provided, in part, by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners, as recommended by the Broward Cultural Council; the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs; and the Florida Council on Arts and Culture.
